NOTICE! Greyhound Bus is our preferred shipper for fiberglass. Other freight services have delivered damaged goods consistently. We are not responsible for shipper abuse. Greyhound has many package locations, some may be a bit inconvenient. We will be happy to insure it for you on your chosen shipper, but you must process the claim in the event of damage. Please inspect your shipment for damages upon receipt or before leaving the terminal or freight dock; otherwise the company may not honor the claim. Should you choose your own shipper, we are not responsible for mis- or non-delivery of your product.
FIBERGLASS CUSTOMERS
Fiberglass fenders and flares are more rigid, and more easily repaired than the plastic counterparts and will always encounter a level of difficulty upon installation. However, they do have a higher strength than plastic. When they are extracted from the molds, they are exact duplicates, fiberglass is a product that becomes more rigid with time and when wrapped and shelved acquires distortion that must be overcome by the installer. Gel coat products must not be sanded raw. You must apply a 2 part gel coat primer before you do any other prep work. Since your parts must be primed, do it first and wet sand. After you have established a nice clean surface, apply color. Do not use any chemically "hot" thinners or reducers. These will cause the fiberglass to blister. In addition, read the directions on your paint products. If your installer is just a "new parts swapper" you will encounter problems. Do not order our products to practice your skills. Installation requires an experienced fiberglass journeyman. You will not receive any refund on parts that have been modified, altered in any manner or destroyed. Please consult a shop that will warranty their work. Please show them this statement. Any shop that repairs fiberglass auto bodies or boat hulls should know how to proceed.

Fender kits include 2 fenders, fuel filler extension tube (pipe not included on '73-'79 Ford only), and installation hardware The fenders supplied with the kits DO NOT INCLUDE GAS DOORS. When installing fenders, the old gas doors and compartments are removed from the truck and installed in the new fenders using the extension tube and clamps that are supplied in the kit. Additional gas doors, compartments and clearance lights may be ordered separately.
Aftermarket fenders are are not exact replacements for factory fenders. They may look alike, but there are differences in attachment points and mounting systems that would have to be accommodated when used on a factory dually. We have seen these mounted on a factory dually, but some improvisation is necessary. Use at your own risk when installing on a factory dually.
